Thanks for your response! Can I be more specific? We have a faculty member who simply wants to put an iguana on display. Do you require a protocol for exhibiting animals? ************************************************************************** Nancy Kay Peterson Director of Grants & Sponsored Projects Somsen Hall Room 202-C Winona State University Winona, MN 55987 Phone: 507.457.5519 Fax: 507.457.2415 xxxxxx@winona.msus.edu http://www.winona.msus.edu/grants/ CREA CATHARINE To: xxxxxx@HRINET.ORG <xxxxxx@NYMC.ED cc: U> Subject: Re: Animals in research Sent by: Research Administratio n List <xxxxxx@hri net.org> 01/24/01 04:33 PM Please respond to Research Administratio n Discussion List Nancy, I don't know that there is a list but the regs apply to VERTEBRATE animals. For example, our IACUC reviews projects involving fish but not leeches. I have some faculty "arguing" over the requirements for fish, snakes, birds and iguanas, and I'm not having much luck going through the regs and the Guide.... ************************************************************************** Nancy Kay Peterson Director of Grants & Sponsored Projects Somsen Hall Room 202-C Winona State University Winona, MN 55987 Phone: 507.457.5519 Fax: 507.457.2415 xxxxxx@winona.msus.edu http://www.winona.msus.edu/grants/ ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ====================================================================== ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ====================================================================== ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ======================================================================
