The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, which is one mile from Phila.,
currently has the following open positions:

Senior Grant Accountant - This person is responsible for all grant
accounting functions.  Duties include preparing grant applications,
preparing quarterly report to NIH, preparing cash requests to NIH, preparing
monthly reports for Principal Investigators comparing grant budgets to
actual expenses, preparing monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations and
assisting in the preparation of the annual budget.  Salary range:  $38,000
to $40,000.

Senior Accountant - This person is responsible for general accounting
functions and also serves as the liaison between the corporate payroll
office and the employees.  Duties include preparing journal entries,
performing account analyses, assisting in the preparation of the annual
budget, updating the plant ledger and leasehold improvements ledger,
monitoring cash flow, updating Labor Distribution Report, preparation of
annual 990 and Bureau of Charitable Contributions Report, and preparing
monthly reports for Stroke Program.  Salary range:  $37,000 to $39,000.

Qualified candidates for either position must possess a bachelor's degree;
experience in a research environment and proficiency in Excel preferred.
