Intergovernmental Personnel Act Agreements (IPA) Valerie Seaquist 17 Jan 2001 17:32 EST

One of our employees is funded 50% by NASA on an IPA agreement. Another
federal agency has approached him with the desire to fund his remaining 50%
with an IPA agreement from that agency.

Can an employee be assigned to two different federal agencies under IPA
agreements as long as the total time is not over 100%? It seems that this is
no different from being funded on two different agency contract/grant
accounts but didn't know if there was some peculiarity within the IPA system
that might prevent this.

As always, thank you!
