Peoplesoft Projects Module Keogh, Richard 12 Jan 2001 10:04 EST

Jane,

Chuck's suggestion is the path we plan on taking at my institution. We
have been using Proposal Tracking for years and have now supplemented
with Human Subjects, Lab Animals and Proposal Development in the
building of the kind of comprehensive "front end" Chuck mentions. InfoEd
currently is developing a postaward financial package that will integrate
with their tracking module.

We have implemented the PeopleSoft financials and HR modules, but the PS
grant module remains significantly behind what InfoEd has developed. Our
plan
eventually is to interface the InfoEd "front end" with PeopleSoft, with
InfoEd's assistance. Dick Keogh

Jane, InfoEd' InfoOffice could be a good "front end" for handling
proposals. They posted an announcement some time ago about creating
interfaces with various accounting systems, and Peoplesoft was one. I'm
cutting and pasting below because I am not sure that attachments work on
this listserve.
