Drexel and MCP Hahnemann Universities in Philadelphia, Pa have a vacancy for
a Program Administrator in the Sponsored Project Management department of
the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.

The Department of Sponsored Project Management provides the primary faculty
interface for the entire sponsored project life cycle, providing a single
primary point of contact, the Program Administrator, for project management
and administration from the proposal through project closeout.

Program Administrators advise faculty and/or departmental staff in the
preparation and processing of grant applications; review and submit
proposals; serve as liaison between faculty, academic departments and
research centers, campus administrative units, and a wide variety of
federal, state, local and private funding agencies; participate in the
development and implementation of sponsored program policies and procedures;
prepare and negotiate subcontracts, consulting and purchased service
agreements; coordinate with the Offices of General Counsel, Patents &
Licensing, Insurance & Risk Management, and other administrative units as
needed, to obtain various required University approvals and signatures;
maintain up-to-date expertise in federal, state, local and other agency
regulations and policies to assure compliance, including OMB circulars;
counsel project directors on sponsor regulations and restrictions; monitor
compliance and programmatic requirements; provide customer support related
to budgets, labor distributions and reallocations, expenditures, cost
sharing, project deliverables, regulatory compliance, and appropriate
recording of project costs, financial reporting, and project closeout.
