Actually, I believe NSF purchased more than one server to handle FastLane
and I believe they were implemented around October 1. Being someone that
does live trainings to the campus and is on and off it all day for this or
that, I actually have not had any problems accessing FastLane lately.
If an organization is not capable of submitting a proposal via FastLane,
they just need to talk with NSF and work out alternative solution. NSF
realizes that not everyone can be up-to-date eon technology and is working
with those that can't.
I have copied Jerry Stuck, Deputy Director of Information Systems for NSF
so he can give a more accurate update.
