DOE's Industry Interactive Procurement System Kaars, Charles 12 Oct 2000 14:18 EST

Colleagues:

Do any of you have any experience with DOE's Industry Interactive
Procurement System (IIPS). IIPS is an electronic proposal submission
system. It's use is required for submission of proposals in response to
DOE's Nuclear Medicine Education Award Program Announcement deadline
October 23). Eligibility to apply to this program is limited to
institutions of higher education. Prior to submitting a proposal via IIPS,
a proposer must register. The registration page is clearly designed for
corporate proposers. The proposer may provide only one contact, and only
that person can access the proposal.
We were advised by DOE IIPS that the single contact should be the
project director. E-mails to the program and contract contacts identified
in the program announcement have not yet been answered.
Guidance from anyone who has experience with this system (or
commiseration with anyone who will be using it for the October 23 deadline)
would be appreciated)
