ANNOUNCES THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

The George Washington University, the largest higher education
institution in the nation's capital, is seeking enthusiastic,
organized, customer service-oriented candidates for the following
research administration positions:

Office of Research Services Research Service Coordinator - 4
positions (Requisition #R8211).

 Will coordinate, participate in, and monitor the daily
administrative and fiscal activities of assigned sponsored research
projects for specific schools and departments of the University to
include both pre-award and post-award functions.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Management, or other field relevant to research administration, or an
equivalent combination of training and experience; a minimum of three
years of professional experience including budgeting and/or
accounting; strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and
organizational skills; proven ability to work effectively in a team
environment and demonstrated willingness to learn and share new ideas;
and familiarity with computer-oriented applications and technology.

Preferred:  At least one year of experience working within a pre-award
and/or post-award environment; and wide experience with the
principles, practices, and procedures related to Federal and
non-Federal sponsored research in an academic environment.

Previous experience with Oracle financial software is desirable for
all of these positions.
