ANNOUNCES THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS
The George Washington University, the largest higher education
institution in the nation's capital, is seeking enthusiastic,
organized, customer service-oriented candidates for the following
research administration positions:
1. Office of Research Services Post-Award Manager (Requisition #R8228).
Will serve as a senior administrator for the management and
administration of assigned post-award research activities for the
University.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Management, or an equivalent combination of training and experience; a
minimum of five years of progressive management experience in a higher
education post-award research administration environment; familiarity
with computer-oriented applications and technology; proven ability to
work effectively in a team environment and demonstrated willingness to
learn and share new ideas; strong leadership, organizational,
supervisory, communication, presentation, customer service, and charge
management skills.
Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration or Higher
Education Administration; wide experience in the principles,
practices, and procedures of Federal and non-Federal sponsored
research in an academic environment; demonstrated success in business
process re-engineering and/or implementation of new information
systems.
Previous experience with Oracle financial software is desirable for
all of these positions.
