ANNOUNCES THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

The George Washington University, the largest higher education
institution in the nation's capital, is seeking enthusiastic,
organized, customer service-oriented candidates for the following
research administration positions:

Grants and Contracts Accounting Services Fiscal Coordinators -
4 Positions Available (Requisition #R8197).

Responsible for  monitoring the fiscal activities of sponsored
research projects for specific schools/departments.  Coordinating
with external offices to resolve any problems, and serve as a
resource on grant fiscal, regulatory, and compliance issues.

Requirements:  A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Management; a minimum of three years of professional experience to
include accounting, and preferably a minimum of one year of experience
working within a post-award grant and contract environment.
Familiarity with computer-oriented applications and technology; strong
interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; the proven
ability to work effectively in a team environment; and a demonstrated
willingness to learn and share new ideas.

Preferred:  Wide-ranging experience in the principles, practices and
procedures of Federal and non-Federal sponsored research in an
academic environment is strongly preferred.

Previous experience with Oracle financial software is desirable for
all of these positions.
