Re: Consequences of Delinquent Reports Marie Smith 25 Jul 2000 15:27 EST
I have a tickler file set up in Access. This allows me to send out reminders when a report is due. A copy of this report goes to the Administrator. The reminder does not get deleted until I get a copy of the report for my files. That works very effectively here. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Marie F. I am particularly interested in responses from larger institutions. Thanks to all of the listserv participants in advance. **************************************** Rosemary Alexander Assistant Director, Office of Research Administration Case Western Reserve University xxxxxx@po.cwru.edu Phone: 216-368-2008 Fax: 216-368-4679 -----Original Message----- From: Research Administration List [mailto:xxxxxx@hrinet.org]On Behalf Of Sally Eckert-Tilotta Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2000 3:45 PM To: xxxxxx@HRINET.ORG Subject: Re: Consequences of Delinquent Reports And another question along that line: what if the PI has left the institution, and the institution has no one who knows enough about the project to write a final report? We have one that has been absolutely impossible--and freezing rcurrent esearch accounts wouldn't solve the situation but, in fact, would probably make the PI happy because it would relieve the PI of further responsibility for continuing the work. What can we suggest to the Chair and/or Dean when the PI is a tenured faculty member? ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ====================================================================== ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ====================================================================== ====================================================================== Instructions on how to use the RESADM-L Mailing List, including subscription information and a web-searchable archive, are available via our web site at http://www.hrinet.org (click on "Listserv Lists") ======================================================================
