Last October, HHS Secretary Donna Shalala accepted the recommendations of a special review group on research misconduct and research integrity involving research funded by agencies of the U.S. Public Health Services; those recommendations included a training initiative.
Once we have all digested this news, I'll be interested in hearing how various campuses might deal with a new requirement for training assuming (as I do) that the draft policy is implemented.
