Hello,

I'm sure many of you are aware by now of the announcement of the new "draft" policy on Instruction in the Responsible Conduct of Research published in last week's NIH Guide.  The notice can be found at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-00-045.html.

Does anyone know what specifically prompted this revision to the current policy, which requires the development of a program of instruction only for trainees?
