NSF is cracking down on F&A charges, Cost Sharing and training grants. They
want to see that the correct F&A rates were applied to the proper base, that
there is documentation of all cost sharing claimed as well as the students and
programs enrolled under their funded programs. This is, of course, in
addition to their usual and customary review for the allowability of costs and
compliance with OMB.
It is extensive. Plan on them being there for a few weeks.
