I have been asked by Dr. Kent Hermsmeyer, President of Dimera LLC, to post a position. He is a 30 year veteran of the NIH grant process who has now set off on his own with a small business located in Portland, Oregon. Funding is from NIH under its Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). I have provided consulting services to Dimera but now the company needs a full-time person. It is hard for us in institutions to know just how difficult it is to seek, receive, perform and manage even two or three grants. Take a look at the position description and, if you are weary of the institutional wars and would like to try your hand at working with a small, very innovative company where the opportunities are great, give Dr. Hermsmeyer a call and tell him I sent you or you can contact me for more information. 7/19/00 Brad Quinn Director, Project Support Office Director, CENTER for Grant and Contract Studies University of Oklahoma 660 Parrington Oval, Room 324 Norman, OK 73019 (405) 325-7091 voice (405) 325-0165 fax xxxxxx@ou.edu Dimera LLC, a cardiovascular research company located in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Grants Management Officer. Entrepreneurial skills for developing and refining a leading quality company, including policy establishment, regulatory agency compliance, and human resources responsibilities will be required. A bachelor's degree or greater in a business-related field is preferred.
