Residual Balances - Answers Doug Wilkerson 18 Jul 2000 05:41 EST

A week or so ago I asked a question about how insitutions handled residual balances after the conclusion of company-sponsored clinical trials. I received a number of responses to this question and I promised to share them with the group. I have posted the responses (stripped of institutional identifiers) on my office's website at the following URL: <http://www.mco.edu/research/residual_balances.pdf>. I will leave the file on the website for about 2 weeks, then remove it.

BTW, I would like to suggest this mechanism for distributing all binary files to members of this group, i.e., just post the file to your website and give everyone the URL via e-mail. There appear to be at least 2 advantages to doing it this way: 1) It keeps down the size of messages; and 2) the files are easily available to all. Those of us who receive RESADM-L in the Digest format do not receive binary attachments in a usable form (they get "dumped" into the regular message text in an unusable format).
