DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF GRANTS AND CONTRACTS

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Director
for its Office of Grants and Contracts.  This executive staff position
oversees a 30-person office responsible for processing and managing a grant
portfolio in excess of $50 million that includes funding from federal,
private and corporate sources.  The office also supports the grant
application process for over 180 faculty members.  Candidates must have a
superior working knowledge of the federal funding system, including the
application process, budget issues, and regulatory compliance.  Must also
have extensive knowledge of other funding agencies and corresponding
procedures.  Must be knowledgeable in research administration, information
processing and forms management.  Must have excellent management and
customer service skills.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Resumes
