Does anyone "out there" send a congratulatory letter to their faculty
member when an award is received?

If so, who is it from?  Do you have a Dean or VP sign them?  Do you publish
them in any newsletters, web sites, etc.  Do you make a BIG DEAL out of them?

We have a standard form letter that we send out with each award, but it is
pretty basic (congrats on your award.....contact the Sponsored Research
Office for administrative changes....blah, blah, blah).
