Job Opportunity

Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, one of the
top five Medical Schools in the country, has a challenging career
opportunity available for an experienced Business Manager.  This position
works directly with the Department Head providing support in the areas of
financial administration by directing and maintaining fiscal,
administrative and budgetary functions for the department.  Interacts
closely with faculty, students, and staff.

This position will oversee all financial aspects of the department
including budget preparation, analysis and projection of revenues/expenses;
research administration, federal and non-federal grant preparation,
purchasing/payroll operations and lab renovations. Other duties include
participating on various interdepartmental committees dealing with a wide
range of topics; and managing the research and administrative operations.

Qualified candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or
related field, a Master's in Business Administration is highly preferred.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in
financial operations and grant administration along with a minimum of 5
years supervisory experience.  Previous experience in a University or
Biomedical environment highly considered.
