>ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND SPONSORED PROGRAMS

>POSITION SUMMARY:
>The Assistant Director of Research is responsible for pre-award services

>A Bachelor's degree in a related area of Business Administration; at least

>independent judgment; excellent organizational, verbal and written
>communication skills; the ability to work well under pressure in a
>detail-oriented environment while handling a multitude of tasks; the
>ability to use tact and discretion and produce time-sensitive, accurate
>information in deadline-oriented situations while working with university
>personnel and external sponsors; proficient utilization of personal
>computers with Windows applications. A combination of education and
>sponsored project administration experience may be substituted for the
>minimum qualifications.
>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
>Extensive experience in a university setting and sponsored project
>administration; knowledge of regulatory assurance requirements currently
>impacting sponsored programs, and familiarity with federal electronic
>commerce initiatives; and the ability to accept and maintain a high degree
>of responsibility within a high volume office.
