New York Medical College's Office of Research Administration seeks Director,
Research Information and Development.
This position is responsible for identification and communication of funding
opportunities for faculty academic programs. Through computer searches and
review of print material, the Research Information director will target
opportunities to specific faculty and produce Grant Sources publication for
distribution to all faculty.
Data analysis and preparation of research planning reports are a function of
this position. Additionally, the Research Information director administers
the intramural research grant and Dean's Distinguished Research Award
programs and manages the internal selection process when only one or two
candidates are permitted.
This individual is the key contact for electronic submission of
applications. Excellent computer and communication skills are essential.
Master's degree and 3-5 years experience in a biomedical/academic setting
are preferred.
