Has anyone checked out the Education Department's new e-GAPS electronic
proposal submission system??

THE DOJ GRANTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ALSO ALLOWS PIS TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS WITH LITTLE TO NO AUTHORIZATION.  AS LONG AS YOU KNOW THE E-MAIL ADDRESS OF SOMEONE IN YOUR SPONSORED PROGRAMS DEPARTMENT, YOU CAN SUBMIT A PROPOSAL.  I SENT AN E-MAIL TO SOMEONE AT THE DOJ LISTING MY CONCERNS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE CHECKS IN PLACE UNTIL AFTER THE PROPOSAL HAS BEEN SENT (AND POSSIBLY REVIEWED AND AWARDED)!!!
