Good afternoon,

I am working with a faculty member on an NIH F30 application and there doesn’t appear to be a field for the budget narrative. 

In the PHS Fellowship Supplemental form instructions, a budget narrative is not listed; however, it appears that it should be included.  This is likewise the same when I review the Fellowship Instructions for NIH and Other PHS agencies.

Looking for reassurance from the group: Is this a requirement?  If so,  how/where have you added the budget narrative to your applications?
