The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, has an opening for Pre-Award Grant Specialist within the Office of Sponsored Programs. This position is eligible for Remote/Hybrid work.

Grant Specialist (R0070841)

The Grant Specialist will provide guidance to university faculty, staff, and students in developing, coordinating, and submitting proposals for extramural funding from private, federal, and state sources. This position will maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of sponsoring agencies; engage in collaborative relationships with faculty/staff; and lead and/or participate in special projects to further the goals and objectives of the University of Arkansas. The Grant Specialist will review proposal documents to ensure compliance with funder guidelines. Additionally, the Grant Specialist will review budgets and budget justifications to ensure appropriate allocation of funds per the funding agency, and state/federal policy and University policy. Following the submission of proposals, the Grant Specialist will also assist Principal Investigators on any requests made by funding agencies prior to receiving award documents (such as Just-in-Time or Proposal File Update requests).
