This is true that the OPM site uses an updated amount for Level II. However, we are still utilizing the old salary cap as no official notice has come from NIH in regards to this.
Remember years ago the NIH salary cap was tied to Executive Level I. Then NIH changed it to be tied to Level II. This caused a big change as it decreased the capped amount.
Without any official notice from NIH, they could change the level again. Something to keep in mind.
