You can have multiple Login.gov accounts. I have 3. I have the same phone number to get in all 3, just different email addresses.
The one that will not let you is the ID.me accounts. This is where you send in photo verification to have an account. Many federal agencies are moving to this. This one, you have a primary email and can add a secondary for work/school/or
other organization. You can only have one primary email to log into, but you can add other emails for work/school purposes.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Separate Login.gov Accounts?
You don't often get email from
xxxxxx@barnard.edu.
Learn why this is important
|
Hi RESADM Community,
A faculty member asked if it were possible to maintain two separate Login.gov accounts:
"I have a personal login.gov account (and two-factor authentication for my personal account - i.e., my personal email). Do you know if the system will allow me to set up another
login.gov account using my College email? Furthermore, even if so, do you know if the system will be "confused" by having two
login.gov accounts linked to the same phone?"
I know that when GSA launched Login.gov, many people expressed concern about mixing their personal and professional lives in this way. Does anyone have experience maintaining two accounts? Have you encountered any difficulties with authentication?
Thank you!
Best,
Pamela
