One question would be how your company obtained the images, Jennifer. You should probably look back through the contract(s) that the images were provided under, as they may have a caveat that the
images shared were for a single purpose and remain the property of the originating organization. To be safe, I would submit this through an IRB, since patient images are being shared, even though there are deidentified.

This is research adjacent and hoping someone can help with some questions.
One of our companies is being awarded a contract that involves Human Subjects Research. The research that is being done: anonymous images of cancer patients that have already been shared to our company for R&D research. For example, a CT
image with a patient of a tumor, but no other data. I have been to the website below and per their definition of what engage means, we don’t. But, I want to make absolutely sure one way or another.
