Hi y’all!
We have a PI who gets lots of big funding. He is a research faculty and has already negotiated his research FTE from 0.25 to 0.30 or so. Unfortunately, I has come to my attention that he has committed nearly 11.5 months effort across his
grants. I would love to know how other people have addressed this issue! He claims to have talked to people at Georgia Tech and UMich that seem to have worked out some sort of department or college buy out. I would love to hear all the ideas and suggestions.
