Caryl: I recommend reaching out to the federal agency requesting this information to ask if it is necessary for your university, since UCSD obviously has had a lot of experience with federal awards. Offer to provide a copy of your last
single audit as evidence.
If the agency won’t budge, contact your university office that manages the annual Single Audit (the Uniform Guidance audit). They will have the internal control information requested and most likely can provide it in the format outlined
in the requirement.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Plan for Recipient Oversight of Federal Award Funds (DHHS NOFO#MP-CPI-24-001)
Good afternoon,
I have a colleague working on a
grant application to DHHS (Office of Minority Health) that includes a “Plan for Recipient Oversight of Federal Award Funds.” We have not encountered this funding mechanism previously and have not had any other applications requiring this attachment. If
anyone here has, do you happen to have any examples or boilerplate language you would be willing to share with us?
A brief excerpt of the attachment description is below for context:
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
😊
Best regards,
