I would interested in hearing about this too. We started Workday April 2023 and still struggle with these types of projects in WD.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Clinical Trial Accounting in Workday

Hello,

Has anyone had success accounting for clinical trials specifically in Workday?  Or a successful work around/add-on?

We’ve been live with Workday for a few months now and while it seems well-suited for standard grants, it is not a fit for clinical trials.  I don’t know how much of this stems from our build and how much is inherent to Workday.  Treating clinical trials as though they were nothing more than any other grant is forcing us to spend more effort for less output.

There just has to be a more efficient, logical way of handling this – I hope!
