Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT’s) Sponsored Research Services is looking to hire a new member on their Pre-Award team at any experience level!
We recently developed a
new career ladder and increased the salaries of all positions and are happy to accept applicants at
all levels of experience. Salary minimums and maximums are listed for each position within the job posting and we receive annual raises.
While the Research Administration position suggests a minimum of 2 years of experience, individuals with no experience are still encouraged to apply. I, myself, was hired without
any experience in the field. Also worth noting, the Assistant Director of Proposal Development position is not the top of the pyramid here so there is still room to move up in the future!

Proposals for external funding must be routed for approvals and received by SRS a minimum of five business days before the sponsor deadline.
Planning on submitting a proposal? Submission of the
Notice of Intent to Submit Form is required in order to streamline the proposal
initiation process and assign a SRS pre-award representative to assist you. The information you provide allows our office to better manage individual workloads and overall efficiency with a goal of providing excellent service to you, the PI, while ensuring
