JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Population Health Sciences is one of the most academically productive departments in the School of Medicine and Public Health. Faculty research interests and expertise are broad and varied and include epidemiology, health
disparities, health services research, health economics, demography, biostatistics, bioinformatics, and environmental/global health. Several faculty members hold joint appointments in other departments and schools including Medicine, OB/GYN, Biostatistics
and Medical Informatics, Mathematics, Family Medicine and Community Health, the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, and the La Follette School of Public Affairs.
This creates a dynamic, collaborative, and highly interdisciplinary research environment and an equally fulfilling professional home for a motivated professional. Regular interaction and consultation with principal investigators will be
a key component of this role. We are especially enthusiastic to recruit an experienced financial professional who can take the department to new heights in terms of financial reporting and quality/process improvement, while continuing to significantly contribute
to the management of the department's research portfolio.
The starting salary will be between $60,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experiences.
