Great article. The quote that strikes me the most is “Part of my job is to realize what I don’t know.” I worked with AI and ML when I was with the DoD and the law of unintended consequences was always in play. The other issue that kept us at night was an artificial miss and the implications of a misidentification or non-identification, in our context a false negative could have long range affect.
