I recently completed a NASA transfer and it took more than 12 months! They are very particular on the letters.   The letter of acceptance must be dated after the letter of relinquishment. It cannot be dated the same date.  I received a package from the PO with the transfer items including the letter templates.  Follow all the instructions exactly.

Subject: [External] [RESADM-L] NASA Award Transfer Letter of Acceptance

Hello All,

I am working on my first NASA PI Transfer-in and am not finding many helpful resources from NASA. One of the requirements for the transfer proposal submission is a Letter of Acceptance from my institution. Does anyone who has prior experience with NASA transfers have a standard template they use for this letter that they would be willing to share with me? I’m not entirely sure what all information this letter should include.

Thanks in advance!
