The Boeing Center for Aviation & Aerospace Safety at Embry-Riddle (CAAS) is recruiting a Research Scientist. This position is dedicated to developing the research enterprise at CAAS, including promoting, securing, and conducting high-quality research. The Research Scientist will be responsible for exploring grant opportunities, building research teams, preparing proposals, and conducting impactful research. The faculty researcher will not have teaching responsibilities, allowing them to focus exclusively on developing and leading research activities.

This position requires a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline) with at least 3 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will be based in our new building, located on the Daytona Beach, FL campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. However, for a well-qualified candidate, a remote, U.S.-based work arrangement may be possible.
