The Sponsored Program Services team within the Office of Research at Purdue University is growing and we’re looking for an individual with outgoing subcontract experience to join our team. 

This position will be primarily focused on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing outgoing subcontracts.  This may include subcontracts under industry or foundation awards, Federal contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements.  The outgoing subcontracts may be issued to other universities, industry partners, or Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (e.g. National Labs).  We are looking for applicants with prior experience issuing and finalizing outgoing subcontracts in a higher education environment.  This experience should include, but not be limited to, FDP Subaward Templates, human subjects data transfer and use terms, and Federal subrecipient monitoring requirements.  This individual will also participate in process improvement initiatives related to the development of subaward templates, workflow processes, and resources for Sponsored Program Services and other University offices. A working knowledge of uniform guidance, FDP subaward templates, contracting principles, as well as institutional, state, and federal regulations related to research administration and subaward compliance is desired.   Applicants with prior contracting or post-award subcontract administration experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
