Hi Everyone, Would love to have your input on a few infrastructure questions - feel free to elaborate.  Thanks in advance. 

If you were assigned to help restructure sponsored projects/research at your college or university, would you 
1) would you place pre-award in Academic Affairs,  the Development or Finance area or some other area(s)?
2) would you place post-award under the same roof? If not, to what area would post award report? 
3) if you were head of pre-award, to what area would you choose to report and why? 
4) Finally, would you hire remote staff for pre-award, post-award or both? 

Any and all insights are  appreciated.
