Hi Kirsten
I’ve had this problem a few times. One of your uploaded documents is corrupt. You have to go through each tab and check each uploaded document to find it. It’s a hassle but that’s how I found my problems and once that is corrected, you won’t have any issues validating.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Validating and Previewing Applications in ASSIST
Is anyone else experiencing issues validating and previewing their NIH ASSIST applications? I get a message saying "Unable to perform the requested function at this time. If the problem persists, please contact the Service Desk" and "Operation Failed". I have been on hold with the help desk for about 30 minutes, but thought I'd see if others were having this problem.
