Sr. Proposal Support Specialist (Grant Writer)

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking a qualified Sr. Proposal Support Specialist to join TCOM’s research team. The incumbent will engage and collaborate
with TCOM faculty to develop research interests, activities, and evaluation strategies. The incumbent will write grants, submit and track grant submissions, as well as manage submission workflows and monitor grant status and funding source requirements.
Prefer experience with editing technical and non-technical documents, including but not limited to grant proposals, cooperative agreements, contracts, and manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent technical writing skills

Knowledge of grantsmanship and scientific terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Masters or PhD Degree in biomedical sciences, health sciences or related field

Grant writing experience within a health-focused organization
-
Experience in assisting with the development of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
Work Schedule:
-
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with some remote work
