We're a small non-profit and even the CITI base subscription is too much $$ for us, so we may end up paying for their RECR course by the individual for staff on newly funded awards. I think this is an allowable expense (200.473 Training and education costs) to include in proposal budgets submitted after July 2023, but what am I not thinking of? 

Lastly, there seems to still be no requirement from NSF on how often individuals must receive RECR training. What are the standards at your institution, especially small non-profits, non-academic orgs, or PUIs? E.g. 1) Annual refresher/full course every four years or 2) full course every 4 years or 3) refresher every 4 years. 

Note: We have no NIH funding and likely won't so just trying to cover the basics for NSF, NASA, and a handful of other small agencies.
