The University of Georgia (Athens, GA) College of Family and Consumer Sciences is hiring for this new position.

The Grants Specialist is a high-functioning position spanning all areas of external grants funding in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS). This incumbent will be a liaison between FACS and Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) and other partnering units such as Owens Institute on Behavioral Research (OIBR) and Center for Family Research (CFR). This role will bridge pre and post award within the College working closely with the Pre-Award Coordinator and the Post-Award Grants Lead with a focus on budgeting, cost shares, sub-awards and Principal Investigator case management. This employee will report to the FACS Pre-Award Coordinator. This employee will also support the Institute on Human Development and Disability that reports directly to the Dean in pre and post award management. The variation in work, responsibility and organizational influence makes this role exciting and critical to the College and Institute.
