We found the most efficient way to submit is through sponsor portals directly. We no longer use the S2S option in Cayuse.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Universities that use Cayuse and Research.gov submitting errors
Good afternoon,
I was interested in getting feedback from other Universities that use the Cayuse software system to submit grants to grants.gov.
With Fastlane being phased out, my office has found many errors that Cayuse is not catching when trying to submit grants that will be picked up by research.gov. We submit to grants.gov. When research.gov tries to pick it up, it errors out with tedious issues
such as the following:
Project Summary
Budget(s)
To add insult to injury, the fixes must be done directly in research.gov. They cannot be fixed in Cayuse and resubmitted.
Cayuse help desk told me the issue is not Cayuse but rather happening during communication from grants.gov to research.gov. Unacceptable answer as their software is useless
if it can’t catch the errors.
Does any Cayuse users out there have any input they can offer to me?
