We have that on our routing sheet as a required field that must be completed when routing a proposal. That way we can track it for every proposal submitted. We then capture
it as an attribute in our financial system for easy reporting when I’m preparing the survey.

Good morning Friends!
I am coming to you to get ideas on how to more effectively gather information for the HERD survey. How does your institution gather the HERD information for your research projects? Currently
we have a form (snippet below) that we send out to Faculty when we set up their award account numbers. We get some back, but it is a pretty low percentage.
