I wanted to share that I reached out to the NSF helpdesk, and this is the response I received in regard to the Current and Pending pdf being updated prior to October 2023.

That is the mandate to use SciENcv instead of the fillable template. I don’t see an extension of the certification requirement at this time.
the alternative is to do what DOE does and have a separate signed certification statement. Their language is:

that any false, fictitious, or fraudulent information, misrepresentations, half‐truths, or omissions of any material

and 3801‐3812). I further understand and agree that (1) the statements and representations made herein are material
to DOE’s funding decision, and (2) I have a responsibility to update the disclosures during the period of performance of the award should circumstances change which impact the responses provided above.

but I think the correct answer is that they will require certification at time of award for proposals that are submitted after 1/30/23 and before they get the electronic certification figured out.

I have a couple of proposals due mid-February on my desk and have not seen an update to SciENcv or the fillable forms to include the new certification requirement. Has anyone seen any updates to the forms or have any information on when
