Subject: [RESADM-L] What qualities do you look for in a good research administrator?
I was having a chat with a colleague about recruiting into our field and we were considering what qualities are essential to a good research administrator.
The first things we came up with are:
- Good with numbers/calculations
- Bit of a perfectionist
- Not afraid to ask questions / search for answers
- Ready to learn new things throughout your career
- Enjoy new daily challenges in a busy job
What else do YOU look for?
