Probably not able to offer much helpful advice – we also participate in NCI trials via NCTN as well as industry and investigator initiated. We use Advarra’s OnCore.

 

I have heard people mention Veeva Vault CTMS but I cannot speak to its functionality as I’ve never used it – it does seem to be a solution preferred by smaller sites, so may be more affordable/better fit for your purposes?

Hi,

I am looking for some guidance/insight on CTMS platforms. We are a site conducting research. We are not academic, and are not conducting multi-site studies (not a coordinating center). We are simply a health system that has NCI studies through a consortium of community cancer centers and we also have some industry sponsored trials in cardiology and neurology.

 

We have been going down the path of adopting Clinical Conductor by Advarra however after digging a bit the cost is out of our range for what we need. We have a small team (6 nurses, 3 coordinators, 1 finance person and a director). In total we have 11 industry studies and about 12 NCI studies through the consortium.

 

Does anyone of similar size have a CTMS they love or hate that can tell me how its going?  I feel as though the ones I am looking at are built for CROs and multi-site studies so they are expensive and powerful. We need to track activity for financials, track patients, store regulatory docs, source documentation, etc. We want to use if on the clinical side as well as the finance side.
