Hi Teri,

Our University Research Centers report to our Vice President for Research and Economic Development.  I manage the team (2 mid-level RAs, 2 high-level RAs, and a high level Business Manager who handles all HR/visa concerns as well as general administrative activities).  I report to the Associate Vice President for Research & Strategic Initiatives who reports to the VPRED.

I hope that helps!

Kay

Subject: [RESADM-L] Research Centers

Good Afternoon,

Does anyone have the situation at their college/university in which Research Centers report to the Research Office vs. the Dean of a College?

If so, would you be willing to share your policies/structures of how/who handles the responsibility for the Center budgets and or and grants received under the Center?

Thank you.

Teri

Sincerely,
