How are your charging it? I ask because, since you paid another institution, it may be a line item under contractual costs, as opposed to tuition. Here, if charged as contractual, it would accrue IDC. However, if it hits the tuition line, no IDC.

 

If we were paying another institution, I think it would be a contractual charge, but I haven’t had this come up, so the above is theoretical.

Hi,

 

We had a staff member take a class at another college and we paid the tuition.  I know the tuition can be paid for under the grant, however, can I charge indirect to this or not?  I know you don’t with students, but I have never run into this before.
