Hello everyone!
Was curious to know if anyone has encountered a federal agency providing an IPA for a faculty member’s time, but also state that a Research Assistant will be funded through the IPA as well.
This doesn’t seem to add up to me given the definition and intended us of IPA on the OPM website. If a RA is hired to perform work, then I would assume this work would be done with university resources, facilities, etc. So a different sponsored program type agreement would be needed rather than an IPA.
But I thought I would reach out to the community to see if someone has seen this before.
Thanks in advance!
Elise
