Portland State University is looking for a Grants & Agreements Analyst (GAA) in the office of Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA), the centralized administrative unit responsible for the oversight and management of external funding received in the form of grants and contracts for research and other scholarly activity.
The GAA serves as a member of a team responsible for the administration of projects across the full lifecycle: assisting investigators with proposal development and submission, reviewing and accepting award terms and conditions with sponsors, preparing and submitting certified financial reports, and overseeing award compliance and award management for a diverse and complex portfolio of sponsored projects funded by our federal, state/local government, private industry, non-profit, and international sponsors. .
This position requires a BA/BS with 3+ years of related experience; a Master’s or other advanced degree in a related or relevant field may substitute for years of related experience. The starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $51,780 and $60,500, depending upon qualifications and experience. Remote and hybrid work schedules are available.
